Data Room
Use the Data Room to collect, classify, filter, recover, archive, and export accounting evidence.
The Data Room is the operating surface for source documents.
It is built for repeated review: accountants can scan document type, client, period, readiness, parser status, extraction state, and next action without opening every file.
Readiness states
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Processing | Parse or extraction work is still running. |
| Failed | Parse or processing failed and can usually be retried. |
| Needs extraction | Text exists, but structured accounting data is missing. |
| Needs review | Structured data exists, but an accountant has not approved it. |
| Ready | The document has passed review or is otherwise usable. |
Views and filtering
Use filters to narrow by document room, readiness, archive status, year, collection, or search text.
Collections can group documents without moving the underlying source file. Archive mode separates active evidence from older retained documents.
Bulk work
The Data Room supports bulk selection for collection assignment, archiving, restoring, and CSV export.
Bulk actions should respect read-only workspace state and role permissions.
